Maadhu Creatives is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Process Planner to join our Production & Planning team in Vasai, Maharashtra. The role involves planning and coordinating the manufacturing process of architectural, industrial, engineering, and miniature scale models from design through final production and dispatch.

About the Role

As a Process Planner, you will be responsible for planning production activities, coordinating resources, monitoring project progress, and ensuring that projects are completed according to planned timelines and quality standards.

You will work closely with the Design, Procurement, 3D Printing, Fabrication, Paint, and Production teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Study 2D drawings, 3D models, project specifications, and production requirements.

• Prepare production processes, work plans, schedules, and project timelines.

• Plan material, manpower, machinery, and other resources required for production.

• Coordinate with Design, Procurement, 3D Printing, Fabrication, Paint, and Production teams.

• Monitor daily production progress and ensure work is completed as per schedule.

• Identify production delays, bottlenecks, and process-related issues and take corrective action.

• Track material usage, wastage, rework, and production efficiency.

• Maintain production planning sheets, project trackers, and progress reports.

• Follow up with different teams to ensure planned activities are completed on time.

• Coordinate production priorities based on project deadlines and requirements.

• Ensure proper handover of work between different production stages.

• Support quality checks and ensure production follows approved drawings and specifications.

• Maintain accurate records of production status, material requirements, and project progress.

Production Planning & Process Management

• Develop practical production plans based on project requirements and delivery schedules.

• Break projects into clear production stages and activities.

• Estimate manpower, material, and machine requirements for each stage.

• Monitor planned versus actual production progress.

• Improve workflow to reduce delays, wastage, and unnecessary rework.

• Ensure production activities are properly sequenced for efficient execution.

Material & Resource Planning

• Prepare material requirement plans based on drawings and production needs.

• Coordinate with the Procurement team for timely material availability.

• Monitor material consumption and identify unnecessary wastage.

• Plan manpower allocation according to project workload and priorities.

• Coordinate machine and equipment requirements with the production team.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work closely with the Design team to understand drawings, models, and technical requirements.

• Coordinate with Fabrication and Production teams for manufacturing activities.

• Coordinate with the 3D Printing team for printing requirements and schedules.

• Work with the Paint and Finishing teams to plan subsequent production stages.

• Follow up with Procurement for materials and components.

• Communicate project priorities, deadlines, and changes clearly to the concerned teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–9 years of experience in production planning, process planning, manufacturing, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes.

• Ability to read and understand 2D technical drawings.

• Ability to understand 3D models and project specifications.

• Good knowledge of production planning and workflow management.

• Strong skills in Excel or Google Sheets for production tracking and reporting.

• Good communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.

• Strong problem-solving and time-management abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

• Knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or SolidWorks will be an advantage.
