Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, result-oriented Operations Head with extensive on-ground production experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire production facility, streamlining workshop workflows, and leading the fabrication teams. You will bridge the gap between initial design concepts and physical, on-time project delivery, ensuring maximum efficiency and strict quality control on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Production Management: Oversee daily workshop operations, resource allocation, and project scheduling to ensure timely delivery of custom scale models and prototypes.
• On-Ground Workshop Execution: Provide hands-on leadership on the production floor. Directly supervise fabrication processes, laser cutting, 3D printing, detailing, and final assembly.
• Quality Control & Precision: Implement and enforce rigorous quality standards to ensure all models meet exact architectural and engineering blueprints.
• Supply Chain & Material Inventory: Manage inventory levels for raw materials (acrylics, plastics, resins, electronics) and optimize vendor management to avoid production bottlenecks.
• Team Leadership & Workforce Management: Direct and mentor a team of skilled model makers, technicians, and carpenters. Optimize labour efficiency and maintain high shop floor morale.
• Safety & Compliance: Establish and maintain high standards of workshop safety, machinery maintenance, and regulatory compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 10 to 12 years of proven experience in operations management, specifically with a heavy focus on on-ground production, workshop management, or creative manufacturing layouts.
• Industry Background: Prior experience in model making, interior fit-outs, exhibition stall fabrication, signage manufacturing, or high-precision creative production is highly preferred.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of custom fabrication materials, machining tools, laser engraving, paint, and 3D printing technologies.
• Project Tracking: Proficiency in project management tools and shop-floor scheduling software.
• Soft Skills: Strong crisis management abilities, exceptional leadership, clear interpersonal communication, and a sharp eye for design details.
